Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka Breeder Bolonka Puppies

Health and careful planning are at the heart of everything we do here. Before any breeding takes place, our dogs are health-tested according to the breed's recommended guidelines. We want to know what we are working with, not guess. Sound structure, good movement, temperament, and overall wellness matter just as much.
Meet the Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka, the Russian Colored Lapdog — a little dog with a very big heart ❤️
Originally developed in Russia as a true companion breed, the Tsvetnaya Bolonka was designed to thrive right by your side. This toy-sized pup is known for its soft, wavy or curly coat (in a variety of beautiful colors), expressive eyes, and an endlessly affectionate personality. The Bolonka is from the Bichon family of dogs.
Bolonki are gentle, people-oriented, and deeply loyal. They love being involved in everyday life—whether that means curling up on the couch, following you from room to room, or greeting guests with cheerful enthusiasm. Despite their small size, they’re confident, intelligent, and surprisingly adaptable, making them wonderful companions for apartments, families, singles, and seniors alike.
One of the breed’s biggest charms is its temperament: friendly without being yappy, playful without being overwhelming, and calm enough to be an excellent emotional companion. They tend to bond closely with their humans and are happiest when included as part of the family.
The Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka isn’t just a pet—it’s a devoted little shadow, a comforter, and a joyful presence wrapped in curls. Simply Bolonka is a collection of some of the Best Bolonka Pedigrees from Russian and European kennels.

Welcome to Simply Bolonka - A Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka Breeder. I am a Preservation and Show Breeder, Mary Poineal and I have over 16 years of showing and breeding purebred dogs. Looking for a smaller rare breed I found the Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka (Russian Colored Lapdog) which was founded in Leningrad and Moscow, Russia and I fell in love. I invite you to join me on my journey for the love and the preservation of the Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka (Bolonki is plural).
From the RTBCA website, "the Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka is a small, sturdy, balanced dog, slightly longer than tall. The breed appears disheveled due to the wavy or curly coat. He moves gracefully with the tail carried over the back. He is friendly to all and shows no sign of aggression. He is sweet, loving, intelligent and willing to please."
